The hardware for this site is operated by the members of Hideo Mabuchi's lab at Caltech. Please contact Anthony Miller (aemiller at caltech dot edu) and John Stockton (jks at caltech dot edu) if you have any questions or comments.
History
Qwiki was launched during the Quantum Control Summer School 2005 at Caltech and many of our current users were in attendance. The effort was led by John Stockton, Anthony Miller, and Kartik Srinivasan with significant support from the rest of the Mabuchi Lab at Caltech.
Maintenance
Qwiki is run on Media Wiki software, the same software used for Wikipedia, on a server at Caltech. Qwiki is regularly backed up and, in the event that we can no longer maintain the database, we pledge to move your contributions someplace more sustainable.
Philosophy
We strongly encourage cooperation with and linking to external resources including Wikipedia, however we hope that the academic focus of this effort will lead to more research level content. We also encourage non-anonymous contributions by our users to foster a stronger, more visible, community.
